I had this mushing-related illustration bouncing around in my head for a couple years. It’s based off common knowledge among mushers that mushing is an expensive hobby, and on a jocular manner, is more expensive than an illicit drug habit. It took a week to complete this illustration in Illustrator (accompanied by a Wacom tablet) back in May 2023. I used several reference photos of friends’ and my own sled dogs. I have this illustration available on sweatshirt and other merchandise here. I have my shop turned off, so let me know if you intend on purchasing.
